Wests Diggers Function Rooms

Wests' Diggers re-opened on 31st October 2005 after undergoing a $5million renovation. And we have created Tamworth's Newest Function Venue offering state of the art facilities and equipment.

The Function facilities have been designed to cater for intimate meetings of 2 people to large gatherings for up to 300 guests. With clients including; NIAS, Aristocrat Technologies, Foster's Australia, Norco Pauls and the Country Music Association of Australia.

Wests' Diggers function rooms include Grand Ballroom, Long Tan, Kokoda & Beersheeba Rooms. Room capacities differ depending on the individual function requirements. Shown below are maximum capacities for each room.

Diggers Grand Ballroom features a raised stage with a dressing room and a dance floor. It has already been the home for some major acts including Felicity, Jim Haynes Brekky Show, Travis Sinclair and Coyote Ugly Bar.

Whilst the Long Tan, Kokoda & Beersheeba rooms all offer the flexibility of 3 separate rooms or they can be combined to create one large room

The Wests Entertainment Group can supply at no cost standard function equipment for example overhead projector & screens, TV, video & DVD players, whiteboards & flip charts, cordless microphones, lecterns. Data projectors are available for hire.

The Wests Entertainment Group can provide an Advantage Card service, allowing individuals or companies the convenience of using this card at any sales point in either club, and paying for all food and beverage in one transaction.
