Wests Function Rooms

Wests function rooms include Blazes Showroom, The Dennis Condon Room and The Ken Chillingworth Room. Room capacities differ depending on individual function requirements. Shown below are maximum capacities for each room.

Blazes Showroom is the venue for many weddings and large corporate functions. This generous venue includes a stage, two dressing rooms with full facilities, dance floor, bar and toilets. Blazes has been the home to many events including: Annual Westpac Ball, Joblink Plus Quality Business Awards, Apex Reunion, Australian Water Association Trade Show, Tradelink Plumbing Supplies Trade Show and Tamworth Bridal Expo. Blazes Showroom is a major entertainment venue during the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival with many national and international artists returning throughout the year.

The Ken Chillingworth Room is the ideal venue for your conference or seminar catering from 2 to 150 guests. It is the latest edition to Function Facilities at Wests. This room has the flexibility of being one large room or three smaller rooms. All rooms have individual lighting controls, TV, Videos & DVD players. The Ken Chillingworth Rooms have been the home to many corporate and private functions including Weddings, family gatherings, private dinners, information nights, trade conferences, seminars and meetings. Some clients that have utilised the Ken Chillingworth Rooms are: Aristocrat Technologies, Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Coca-Cola, Leading Edge Computers & Communications, Telstra Country Wide, Country Rugby League, NewTrain and Repco.

In addition, Wests Scully Park Oval is a professional standard rugby league football ground with seating for over 3000 spectators, modern dressing rooms and 1100 lux lighting (allowing for professional colour television transmission ie. for night football).

  SELF EXCLUSION

 

A Multi Venue Self Exclusion Program is available at participating NSW Registered Clubs.

If you have a problem with gambling you can exclude yourself from all venues within a 20km radius at a single meeting.

Contact a local club or an approved Counselling service for more information.

The Wests Entertainment Group offers a PRE-COMMITMENT program to it's members.

Ask our Duty Manager how to set gaming machine play limits based on Turnover, Spend, Time or a combination of all three criteria.
